Who We Are & What We Do

Green Futures is a social enterprise scheme based on a 3.5-acre site on Bradley Road in Grimsby. We maintain a growing space that includes four poly tunnels; we also have a workshop, a wetland, woodland and orchard. We rely on volunteers to help us grow produce and maintain the site all year round, and in turn our volunteers benefit from open spaces, a nurturing growing environment, and companionship in a safe environment.

If you would like to participate in any aspect of our work, we would love you to join us, whether that is working on site as a volunteer or joining our veg box scheme.

There are a number of opportunities available for volunteers on site, including general gardening, pruning, woodworking, working on our veg-box scheme, preparing lunches, site maintenance and looking after our woodland.

Volunteers benefit from a friendly, welcoming environment and companionship in a sanctuary in the heart of Grimsby.

We are looking for green-fingered volunteers, who are looking for great friends and want to enjoy growing and eating good food with roles including: lunchtime cook, team leader, woodland management, gardener, workshop supervisor and general handy person.
